250 grams soya chunks
250 grams hung curd
15 grams ginger garlic paste
10 grams turmeric powder
6 grams red chili powder
6 grams garam masala
15 grams Salt
30 ml refined oil
250 grams onion, finely chopped
250 grams tomato, pureed
130 grams cashew nut paste (soaked in warm water and blended)
6 grams cumin seeds
6 grams coriander powder
6 grams kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. **Prepare Soya Chunks:**
Boil the soya chunks in water with a pinch of salt for about 5 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water. Set aside.
2. **Marinate Soya Chunks:**
In a bowl, mix Curd (Dahi), ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and 15 grams of oil. Add the boiled soya chunks to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
3. **Grill Soya Chunks:**
Thread the marinated soya chunks onto skewers. Grill or bake until they are golden brown and have a smoky flavor. Set aside.
4. **Prepare Masala:**
In a pan, heat 15 grams of oil. Add cumin seeds and chopped onions. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
Add coriander powder and tomato puree. Cook until the oil separates.
Add cashew nut paste and cook for a few more minutes until the masala thickens.
5. **Combine Soya Tikka with Masala:**
Add the grilled soya chunks to the masala. Mix well and let it simmer for 1015 minutes.
6. **Finish:**
Crush kasuri methi between your palms and sprinkle over the dish. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Naan:
You can either make naan at home using a simple recipe or buy pre-made naans from a store.
