250 grams fresh pineapple, finely chopped
250 grams curd (Dahi) (curd), well-whisked
5 grams cumin powder
5 grams chaat masala
4 grams black salt
4 grams roasted cumin powder
A pinch of red chili powder (optional)
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Mint leaves, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine well-whisked Curd (Dahi), cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, and roasted cumin powder. Mix until well combined.
2. Add finely chopped pineapple to the Curd (Dahi) mixture and stir well.
3. Taste and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. If you like it slightly spicy, you can add a pinch of red chili powder.
4. Garnish the Pineapple Raita with fresh coriander leaves and mint leaves.
5. Refrigerate the raita for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
6. Serve Pineapple Raita chilled as a side dish with biryanis, pulao, kebabs, or any spicy Indian main course.
