Delight in the crispy perfection of our Chilli Fish – succulent fish bites seasoned and stir-fried to a flavorful dry finish, offering a tantalizing blend of spice and savory goodness.
:
**For Marination:**
500 grams boneless fish fillets (tilapia, basa, or any white fish)
15 grams soy sauce
15 grams ginger garlic paste
Salt and black pepper to taste
15 grams cornstarch
**For Frying:**
Vegetable oil for shallow frying
**For Chilli Sauce:**
30 gramss soy sauce
15 grams chili sauce
15 grams tomato ketchup
15 grams vinegar
15 grams cornstarch mixed with 30 gramss water (cornstarch slurry)
**For Stir-Frying:**
30 gramss vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced
2-3 green chilies, sliced
15 grams minced garlic
15 grams minced ginger
Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
**Marinate and Fry Fish:**
1. Pat dry the fish fillets with a paper towel. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.
2. In a bowl, mix the fish pieces with soy sauce, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 1520 minutes.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan for shallow frying. Fry the marinated fish pieces until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fish from the pan and set it aside.
**Prepare Chilli Sauce:**
1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, and vinegar to make the sauce.
2. In a small saucepan, heat the sauce mixture. Once it starts simmering, add the cornstarch slurry and stir continuously until the sauce thickens. Set aside.
**Stir-Fry Vegetables:**
1. In a wok or large pan, heat vegetable oil.
2. Add sliced onions, bell pepper, green chilies, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Stir-fry until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
**Combine Everything:**
1. Add the fried fish to the wok with the stir-fried vegetables.
2. Pour the prepared chilli sauce over the fish and vegetables. Toss everything together until the fish and vegetables are well-coated in the sauce.
3. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
**Serve Hot:**
1. Chilli Fish Dry is ready to be served. Enjoy it as an appetizer or as a side dish.

Adjust the quantity of green chilies and chili sauce based on your spice preference.
