**For Marination:**
500 grams boneless, skinless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
30 gramss soy sauce
15 grams chili sauce
15 grams ginger garlic paste
Salt and black pepper to taste
15 grams cornstarch
**For the Sauce:**
30 gramss soy sauce
15 grams chili sauce
15 grams tomato ketchup
15 grams vinegar
15 grams cornstarch mixed with 30 gramss water (cornstarch slurry)
**Other Ingredients:**
30 gramss vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced
2-3 green chilies, sliced
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch piece of ginger, grated
Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
**Marinate Chicken:**
1. In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
**Cook Chilli Chicken:**
1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or a large pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
3. In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Add sliced onions, bell pepper, green chilies, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir-fry until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, and vinegar to make the sauce.
5. Add the sauce mixture to the pan and stir well.
6. Pour the cornstarch slurry into the pan and stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
7. Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the sauce and vegetables. Toss everything together until the chicken is well-coated in the sauce.
**Garnish and Serve:**
1. Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds if desired.
2. Serve Chilli Chicken hot over rice or noodles.
