5 grams black pepper
15 grams Salt
30 gramss besan (gram flour)
1 egg (optional, for binding)
15 ml refined oil
Skewers (wooden or metal), soaked in water if using wooden
Instructions:
1. **Prepare Ground Chicken:**
If you don't have ground chicken, you can use boneless chicken pieces and grind them in a food processor until you get a minced texture.
2. **Marinate Chicken:**
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, finely grated onion, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilies, fresh coriander leaves, fresh mint leaves, garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, salt, besan (gram flour), and oil. Mix well.
3. **Optional: Add Egg for Binding:**
If you want a firmer texture, you can add an egg to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
4. **Shape into Seekh Kebabs:**
Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a cylindrical or sausage-like kebab around the skewers. Ensure the kebabs are well-packed to prevent them from falling apart during grilling.
5. **Grill or Cook:**
You can either grill the kebabs on a barbecue or cook them on a stovetop grill pan or in the oven. Cook until the kebabs are golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
6. **Serve Hot:**
Once cooked, remove the Chicken Seekh Kebabs from the skewers and serve hot.
Note:
You can customize the spice levels based on your preference by adjusting the amount of red chili powder.
Serve the Chicken Seekh Kebabs with mint chutney or your favorite sauce.
