For Marination:
6 chicken drumsticks
250 grams hung curd
30 gramss ginger garlic paste
15 grams mustard oil
15 grams gram flour (besan)
100 grams Lemon (Neembu)
10 grams red chili powder
6 grams garam masala
6 grams coriander powder
6 grams cumin powder
6 grams chaat masala
5 grams turmeric powder
15 grams Salt
Fresh coriander leaves and lemon wedges for garnish
For Coating:
30 gramss cornflour
30 gramss rice flour
For Cooking:
Oil for shallow frying or grilling
Instructions:
1. Clean and make deep slits on the chicken drumsticks.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for marination Curd (Dahi), ginger garlic paste, mustard oil, gram flour, lemon juice, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
3. Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate for at least 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
4. Before cooking, mix cornflour and rice flour in a plate. Roll each marinated drumstick in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.
5. Heat oil in a pan or on a grill.
6. Shallow fry or grill the chicken drumsticks until they are golden brown and cooked through. Turn them occasionally for even cooking.
7. Once cooked, remove the drumsticks from the heat.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
